I have been trained in the Institute of Group Analysis, London.

 

For seven years I have been participated in the Dangerous and Severe Personality Disorder Program in the NHS building a Medium Secure Forensic Therapeutic Community.

 

I was also working in different NHS outpatient settings and privately, facilitating Group Analytic and Individual Psychotherapy, as well as Staff Support groups.I have gained experience working individually and in groups with people who experiencing enduring and severe mental health issues.

 

I am devoted to working with frontline public sector workers especially healthcare staff keeping teams together or with who are experiencing symptoms of burn-out.  I have developed a special interest in multi-disciplinary team work with people suffering from personality disorder. 

 

Currently I’m the Director of the Leo Weisz Therapy LTD and the Community Psychotherapy Network C.I.C. which I have established in 2014. This is an umbrella organisation offering Individual Couple, Family and Group Analytic Psychotherapy in East London. We also offering supervision for therapists and extended support for frontline healthcare staff.

 

I’m a tutor on the Institute of Group Analysis clinical training and a visiting lecturer of the Tavistock-Portman Clinic forensic training as well.

 

I’m member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy the Institute of Group Analysis and the Group Analytic Society International.

I’m a Training Group Analyst of the IGA and also a UKCP registered and qualified supervisor.

 

Prior to trained as a Group Analyst, I enjoyed a career as a nurse and paramedic.
